I hadn't noticed that bit myself at all. Admittedly, that's not exactly abnormal. In my experience, it seems most indie AVN devs opt to make non-paying players wait 2 weeks-3 months, with the most common being about a month. That sucks ass, but when you're just one person making a game at this level, and you have a life to live, job to work at, etc, it's understandable to do that to try to incentivize people who can pay via patreon to do so. So even though I personally dislike it, I completely understand it.
At least he's not going the route of some others, who decide to just only allow people to play it if they pay, whether one time for the latest update, or, as a recurring member, again, likely via patreon. When that happens, I'm actually genuinely annoyed by it.
Is there a way to change MC's name mid-way in the save file? Replaying latest episode before the new one comes out and my last save files were deleted so I downloaded a save file, want to change the name.
Been following this game for almost 3 years now and I have enjoyed each and every update. Been a while since news on development so really hope this project is still being worked on. Been almost a full year since episode 8, and I really don't want to see this game I care about so much just die.
Just released a teaser. As for EP9's development. It's going is all I can say. Right now render count is at 714 renders. And the script line count is over 5000 lines. (for comparison EP8 had 595 renders and 4200 lines). EP9's render count will prolly break 1K before it's done.
So yeah... I'm a broken record at this point but still a while yet.
Second time I play this game and second time I fall in love with every female character. There's only a point. In ch 6 I'm not able to check the point when waking up Emily, she explain what's happened. And same with ch 8 with Emily scenes. Tried every possible path, but even with maxed love point I can't go through. Tried wroted walkthrough but even with them, nothing. Is there some script bugs or its just me doing something wrong? Help, wanna unlock everything
Started recently, and I love this game. Haven't even made it past chapter 3, but I'm so invested in the story already.
That being said, does anyone know how to get max love/corruption on Emily in chapter 1 and so on? No matter what choices I make the highest numbers i get are not the maximum, which stops me from being able to unlock other events later down the line.
I like that you take time to develop a story like in chapter 8. A lot of that episode was just introduction to gramps and building the tension. Good stuff
Amazing Game. Emily's face isn't great to me, but still fun. Ash is the best ever. Don't like the underage prostitution... but she pushes all my buttons enough not to care. Best girl ever, and now I want her sister too>.< Really want access to Shiho and Nadia! Surprisingly like the story as much as what I really came for. Eager for more! DO not want to share any of my precious girls lol
But for the relatively common use of over-busty MILFs, this is actually a good story with interesting backstories and divergent personalities. I hope you complete it. Really appreciate the care that went into unique character design and character development. Too many AVNs have shallow or idealized characters. A story about people who are just like total messes at life is a breath of fresh air. Plus 10/10 flawless renders. Great game so far
you cant be talking about the manchild mc then. I agree about all the other characters for sure just not the mc. Sadly most vn's have the same stereotypical badly written main characters. This game doesn't suffer because of the mc. The game thrives because of how well written the characters are written and it is only because of how much work he put into those characters that the game doesn't train wreck into a mess. Every vn centers around the MC, if the main protagonist is badly written, then it makes it far too hard to look past him or her. Most MC's are only added to the vn during late development because its easier to work him or her into the story, while everything is in place.
I know quite a few devs who do this. they know what he will and will not do, but he isnt fleshed out until later in the development phase. Also most MC's are completely one dimensional in that there is nothing to them , they behave like a child in a man's body or appear to be mentally challenged..only because some dev's couldn't care less about the mc. Stop and read how the mc's responds and talks in this vn, the guy is completely shallow, behaves like a child, speaks like he suffers from mental retardation. Says things that don't fit with the way he says things. Especially in chapter 8 in particular, it was almost like the mc was switched with someone else, because the manner and style he spoke in where completely inconsistent with how he has consistently spoken in previous chapters. There should have been more choices for the MC to make when and during the sister and father scenes. We where basically forced into making choices that in the end where no choices at all just the illusion we had. Instead of doing that, its better not to give choices at all if the outcome is the same regardless.
Overall it does NOT make it a bad game at all, quite the opposite in fact, when I play games like this, I like to be immersed, the game sucks me into it's story, which it did and I enjoyed it.
Even for one person to be doing this vn, it's been quite some time since the last update. I know there are people out there that could help him if he wanted it, but I suspect he wants to do it all himself which is fine.
Those that attack others regarding how long the last update has taken. You do realize eventually even his most ardent supporters on patreon or wherever will stop that support if there is nothing and you can't blame them either. I don't know if the dev has suspended his patrons from having to pay him while there are been absolutely nothing for so long.
The only reason I post here, is because I care about the development and continuation of this game, but I have seen enough games get to a certain point that the dev for whatever his or her reason has no choice but to quit development. All this mental illness excuses many devs use is just a copy and paste impasse, I don't buy all of it, sure there might be an odd one or two here and there, but I wasn't born yesterday to be fobbed off with excuses when i see them, and this is a growing problem with many adult vn devs, but they still expect their patrons to give them money for nothing under the guise I am still working on the project and all they get is a handful of renders or very tiny updates, just so their work doesn't get the abandonded tag and they loose their patrons. I am NOT saying this happening here at all, I am just saying this bs is happening on most adult vn's but they still want to scam their patrons into subbing them by them giving their subs excuses.

I just got done playing the Ash path, and I must say it's quite interesting. If played right, I would label it more like a powerplay relationship rather than domination. Back to back teetering of power, but in a caring way. I will have to run through the other paths but I couldn't stop but take a beautiful canvased beauty as my first pick. her story... all I gotta say s grab your floaters and life jackets. You're going to need em.
As for the game itself, first, the intro song. Never change it! It's beautiful, and it fits the game perfectly. Next, I hit the end of EP 8 and I felt a pit in my stomach knowing it was about to end, and when it did... I sat down and listened to the intro again. The only big downside, and in many ways also an upside, is if you chose Ash, you miss out on quite a lot. But, it makes a lot of sense to do so. I love how choices Truly do matter, and not just "yeah it's just filler" The characters are all great, so much depth, you feel as if you are actually talking to real people, well as real as games without immersive AI goes, something we don't have the tech for. Every character has some true emotion.
Needless to say I can't wait till Ep 9, who knows... maybe some doctor life paths may come to play. She seems like she would be quite fun to toy with, just like Em.

Like seriously I want to love this game because the story is great but I'm dead ass serious do you ever get laid in this game or is it constant build ups that hit brick walls all day? Honestly so far, the only actual sex scene I've seen in the game was with Ashley on episode 7, and you can miss it completely of you pursue Emily who's supposed to be the main girl in the game.
Well, for some players building relations is more important than meaningless sex, how strange it wouldn't sound. There are games where you f*ck everything which does not escape on a tree but they are really boring.

I actually like that this game doesn't have like "conventionaly* attractive characters that look like super model, cookie-cutter, superficial bimbos and are more grounded, I feel like that makes you focus on the relationship building aspect of the game rather than just a bunch of sex scenes put together with a sloppy excuse of a story, I agree that Ashley's sister is attractive but so far that's the only thing going for her, tho I reserve my judgement, I mean, we've only know her for a single episode and is not the best person ever, I still think that all of the girls are attractive in their own right, Kuneida is too god damn cute, I really like tattoos so Ashley is super hot for me, as for Sam well nothing beats a good MILF and Emily is the type of girl I'd actually go for in real life.

First, this is an amazing game, one of the best VN's I've played and am excited to keep supporting it in the future. Truthfully, just the damn song at the start screen had me in my feels which is also why I'm here, what song was that??? I can't find it online, does anyone know what that first song that plays at the start up is? Besides that tho, I'm going happy ending in my route, I want affection with just the right amount of corruption lol
I do have a suggestion of something you could out in the game, it's just a big shame that I have to pay on patreon to get in contact with you on discord. After all, it's something for the game.

Well, I was frustrated that I have no impact on what's going on and I cannot chose girl which I want to have relation with. There were no meaningful choices.
Forced romances and sexual encounters are a big problem in a lot of these adult VNs. Way too many force sex with random characters, or characters you don't like, on you. In Acting Lessons, no matter what you do that one girl is always your girlfriend. Your character will always fall in love with her regardless. Probably its biggest flaw, tbh.
If your story has no room for choices, then don't give the player the illusion of choice, it just pisses them off.
Hey Az - Az! Love your game, completed the latest chapter last night. Although, I came across something weird:

When talking to Ashlyn (Lynn) about Ashley (Ash), she had said something like believing I had already had my way with her sister, where you have a flash back to the scene of her giving you a BJ in your room and on the couch in the lounge room (Which I assume was the same day you are to play games with Em)
Although, what is weird is I never actually got that scene, when Ash attempted to 'seduce' me in the lounge room after Em left to get changed and whatnot, I didn't act on it. (I am going for an Emily playthrough atm and wasn't sure how my relationships with some people impact my relationships with others - Although I now know the game warns you about such dire decisions).
I am not complaining or anything, I love your games, both the visuals and story are incredible, but i thought I should tell you just to let you know of any potential future.
Not finished with the game yet but I can assure you that this is a top AVN. The story doesnt feel rushed and the plot is very wide(as of episode 6). Since Im broke and can't give money or donation to the creator, I offer my 5 star rating and this recommendation text.
I wouldn't consider it very similar honestly, but for those who play it, definitely use a walkthrough if you want to complete as many paths in it as possible because it's otherwise easy to make a single choice that boxes you out of many other possibilities. I learned that the hard way (expending large amounts of time replaying it until I gave up) and have not wound up opting to re-download it and use said walkthroughs. So again, definitely use one!

Well, I was frustrated that I have no impact on what's going on and I cannot chose girl which I want to have relation with. There were no meaningful choices.

Forced romances and sexual encounters are a big problem in a lot of these adult VNs. Way too many force sex with random characters, or characters you don't like, on you. In Acting Lessons, no matter what you do that one girl is always your girlfriend. Your character will always fall in love with her regardless. Probably its biggest flaw, tbh.
If your story has no room for choices, then don't give the player the illusion of choice, it just pisses them off.

Love your game, completed the latest chapter last night. Although, I came across something weird:
[THIS CONTAINS SPOILERS]
When talking to Ashlyn (Lynn) about Ashley (Ash), she had said something like believing I had already had my way with her sister, where you have a flash back to the scene of her giving you a BJ in your room and on the couch in the lounge room (Which I assume was the same day you are to play games with Em)
Although, what is weird is I never actually got that scene, when Ash attempted to 'seduce' me in the lounge room after Em left to get changed and whatnot, I didn't act on it. (I am going for an Emily playthrough atm and wasn't sure how my relationships with some people impact my relationships with others - Although I now know the game warns you about such dire decisions).
I am not complaining or anything, I love your games, both the visuals and story are incredible, but i thought I should tell you just to let you know of any potential future.

Not finished with the game yet but I can assure you that this is a top AVN. The story doesnt feel rushed and the plot is very wide(as of episode 6). Since Im broke and can't give money or donation to the creator, I offer my 5 star rating and this recommendation text.

"sisterly lust" by perverteer is pretty great.
I wouldn't consider it very similar honestly, but for those who play it, definitely use a walkthrough if you want to complete as many paths in it as possible because it's otherwise easy to make a single choice that boxes you out of many other possibilities. I learned that the hard way (expending large amounts of time replaying it until I gave up) and have not wound up opting to re-download it and use said walkthroughs. So again, definitely use one!
