I had a simalar problem with MegaSync. I had to uninstall MegaSync and then delete all left over files on my pc that had anything to do with Mega and that fixed it. For some reason there was a file that told Mega I was over the limit and it never updated when the download limit was supposed to reset. I hope this helps.
Well, i just recently signed up here to review this game and others i have played and while i have not contributed cash wise, i am going to contribute here with an opinion on said game and my suggestions.
I love the idea of the story and i have to say, my favourite is Emily, she is tough, strong, independent, but is also feminine.
Ashley, while interesting, there seems to be problems with her on an emotional level and i look forward to seeing what the Developer does with this character, maybe there is a way to make her...less bitchy, but stay the same when it comes to not taking any BS from guys in her life.
Samantha is the common MILF wet dream being manifested, but it seems rather problematic as you play the game with the amount of flirting options.
When it comes to the MC, i just don't understand how he can be so utterly stupid and clueless, he spent the better part of his teenage phase of his life in a male only environment, so i can understand being able to talk to Luis as well as he does, but how is he able to be confident to talk to women without any experience with them? I mean when i was 19 years old, i knew more than this guy and i never really had any contact with women outside of my family, being overweight tends to make you not desirable.
While i am unable to really talk to women that well unless they start the conversation, i however will never be able to say if a woman is hot or not like this MC does, it just makes no sense how he can behave like this and then still have no clue why Emily and the Doctor are basically competing against each other for the MC's attention.
Also, the lack of options in the released content is abit limiting for my taste, i would suggest they add in more options so you can avoid doing something entirely stupid, which even i know with my limited experience with women is stupid, his juvie experience is no excuse for his lack of common sense.
I've really wanted to download and play this game for a very long time; but the download location wouldn't let me for quite a while -file was unavailable or some such.
So when I finally succeeded in downloading and started playing, I was anxious to explore the story and the decisions I might make along the way.
I wanted to like this game, I really did. But ultimately, I just couldn't.
And in short, this is why:
MC is far too apologetic for my kind of roleplaying / immersion; and the path with Emily seems fixed somehow -whenever I'd like my MC to tell her off or some such, I'm funneled back onto the loveydovey path for Emily. For a character with anger management issues he keeps apologising for every little infraction -even the ones he did not cause.
I would have liked the option to tell some NPC's under certain conditions to simply feck off. Aside from a possibly bad first impression you might have with Emily, I haven't come across a single vertebrae for any kind of backbone for the MC. Even if my initial choice was to be rude to Emily, the guy decided to apologise to her the very same evening. And after that it just devolved into one big mea culpa.
I tried to keep on playing, to find some redeeming quality, but after Episode 4 was concluded I simply quit to desktop. My suspension of disbelief has been seriously crippled and the illusion that choices matter quickly dissolved -especially when my choices are reduced to simply clicking the only single response on my screen.
The art is very nice as is the original premise and setting -and I really like Samantha as an NPC. Music is also a great asset. But it just doesn't work for me; the shallowness of the MC (horney and misogynistic on one hand, and the distinct lack of a spine combined with an overabundance of apologies on the other) disrupts any type of immersion and personal investment.
When I would've liked the MC to back off or tone down his horney conduct, there usuallly was no choice to be made whatsoever -or only one single option to proceed with the story, when I'd considered he'd simply taken things a bit too far.
Notwithstanding, I still applaud your hard work, dedication and skills to create this game and share it with a community of players,
I guess, that in the end, it's just not my cup of tea.

Really like the game so far, the models are amazing, idk why but some realistic models i see almost make people look diseased, but these ones are very good, also the backgrounds with realistic shadows, transparent hair and clothing, and all the small sound details makes this nice package, hopefully future chapters also get the same treatment. One question tho, is there any plans to set up a discord because i have a bunch of questions about the stats menu that need answered
Okay so here's my experience, I've downloaded the game last January I think and it's still on episode 4 but I haven't really played it, I continue playing it last November 1 and I'm engaged of the story then, but it doesn't have the music and the bgm back then so it kinda turns me off a bit the I check the site again and I'm surprised that it's on episode 7 now so I downloaded it and play then puff I'm so surprised that there's music!!! Also what's the title of the song?? I wanna know, also if this game got more funding, I hope this will have voice acting, cuz I hear the simple burst if laughing of Ashley, "HEY!" of Ashley and giggle of Emily, I kinda know what their future voice actresses will sound like hahahhaa I also like the story of Ashley, she has this "IDGAF" bitchy attitude but! Lol hahaha the way she eat is funny hahaha cuz it's so different on the way she act hahaha oh well, since she's a rich ass person I guess there's still royalty attitude left in her body hahahh

Edit: Ok it's finally worked and downloaded after a week or so of constantly checking up on it. Just downloaded and about to play it now. Keep up the work because (up to Chapter 6) the game is incredible. Honestly you deserve all the support you get.

The Halfway House EP7v2 Win/Linux link seems to be broken since the last 3 days it has not been possible for me to download it. Do you have a non google drive link like maybe MEGA or the possibility to fix the existing one?
