I've really wanted to download and play this game for a very long time; but the download location wouldn't let me for quite a while -file was unavailable or some such.
So when I finally succeeded in downloading and started playing, I was anxious to explore the story and the decisions I might make along the way.
I wanted to like this game, I really did. But ultimately, I just couldn't.
And in short, this is why:
MC is far too apologetic for my kind of roleplaying / immersion; and the path with Emily seems fixed somehow -whenever I'd like my MC to tell her off or some such, I'm funneled back onto the loveydovey path for Emily. For a character with anger management issues he keeps apologising for every little infraction -even the ones he did not cause.
I would have liked the option to tell some NPC's under certain conditions to simply feck off. Aside from a possibly bad first impression you might have with Emily, I haven't come across a single vertebrae for any kind of backbone for the MC. Even if my initial choice was to be rude to Emily, the guy decided to apologise to her the very same evening. And after that it just devolved into one big mea culpa.
I tried to keep on playing, to find some redeeming quality, but after Episode 4 was concluded I simply quit to desktop. My suspension of disbelief has been seriously crippled and the illusion that choices matter quickly dissolved -especially when my choices are reduced to simply clicking the only single response on my screen.
The art is very nice as is the original premise and setting -and I really like Samantha as an NPC. Music is also a great asset. But it just doesn't work for me; the shallowness of the MC (horney and misogynistic on one hand, and the distinct lack of a spine combined with an overabundance of apologies on the other) disrupts any type of immersion and personal investment.
When I would've liked the MC to back off or tone down his horney conduct, there usuallly was no choice to be made whatsoever -or only one single option to proceed with the story, when I'd considered he'd simply taken things a bit too far.
Notwithstanding, I still applaud your hard work, dedication and skills to create this game and share it with a community of players,
I guess, that in the end, it's just not my cup of tea.
Does anyone know the song/artist name for the song in the main menu? I've looked everywhere for it. Google can't identify it at all and searching up portions of the lyrics provides no correct results. If the song name/artist is available on patreon please tell me.
Really like the game so far, the models are amazing, idk why but some realistic models i see almost make people look diseased, but these ones are very good, also the backgrounds with realistic shadows, transparent hair and clothing, and all the small sound details makes this nice package, hopefully future chapters also get the same treatment. One question tho, is there any plans to set up a discord because i have a bunch of questions about the stats menu that need answered
Okay so here's my experience, I've downloaded the game last January I think and it's still on episode 4 but I haven't really played it, I continue playing it last November 1 and I'm engaged of the story then, but it doesn't have the music and the bgm back then so it kinda turns me off a bit the I check the site again and I'm surprised that it's on episode 7 now so I downloaded it and play then puff I'm so surprised that there's music!!! Also what's the title of the song?? I wanna know, also if this game got more funding, I hope this will have voice acting, cuz I hear the simple burst if laughing of Ashley, "HEY!" of Ashley and giggle of Emily, I kinda know what their future voice actresses will sound like hahahhaa I also like the story of Ashley, she has this "IDGAF" bitchy attitude but! Lol hahaha the way she eat is funny hahaha cuz it's so different on the way she act hahaha oh well, since she's a rich ass person I guess there's still royalty attitude left in her body hahahh

Edit: Ok it's finally worked and downloaded after a week or so of constantly checking up on it. Just downloaded and about to play it now. Keep up the work because (up to Chapter 6) the game is incredible. Honestly you deserve all the support you get.

Yeah, Emily is the only character i REALLY want as a ''romance'' option.
That being said, ofc Emily will be a character you can fuck eventually, wouldn't make much sense not to make her available as a sexytime option, but she probably won't have sex with you in any episodes coming soon, since that wouldn't really fit her character, you will probably have to play the long game with her.

Dont install new episodes over old ones. Treat each new release like a fresh game. Delete the old install and extract the new one to it's own folder. Before extraction do a test of the zip to make sure your download isn't borked.
No, I mean I can't download any of the versions and I haven't downloaded any of the previous versions either. I want to install the game however, when I try to it tries to instal but then immediately cancels it. Could you tell me how to install the game into my own folder instead of installing it through itch.io? I'll see whether that works.
Well, what can I say. This is so much more than what one might expect. Came in expecting to see the usual terrible writing with flat, stereotypical characters and just skim through it for a couple of pics then close it and forget it. But with every episode I got more and more captivated, stopped caring about the "adult" side pretty much entirely, and I'm now done with EP6 and I got all emotional T^T Please keep it up. Please keep the quality of the writing and the depth of the characters and relationships. I'd be happy if it lasted forever. Once I stop being broke I'll support on Patreon (yay covid times >.>). Also if you could create an Emily IRL for me I wouldn't complain... T_T Great work Az, can't wait for more episodes. Thank you!

You have to go to itch on a browser, and try downloading. It'll work then. No new tabs either, just click.
